Head Sketch

Hi.

Here's my latest finished work. This time I recorded myself working, so, if you're interested, you can see the making of process right below.

Once again, the first thing I notice right after I finish the post-processing, is how dull the character expression is. It's probably the lack of pose causing it, so I definitely need to work on that.

Anyway, hope you enjoy.

Edit: It appears non-members of vimeo can only post one HD video per week (ffs it's 2013), so for now I can only post the SD version, but you can see it in HD on Youtube through this link. (I only use vimeo in here because of the personalized video thumbnails).

Return

Hi. What can I say? I'll try to post more often.
Found this old wip render laying around and decided to make something with it.

There's more new stuff on the way.

Head Sketch (With Timelapse)

Hello. I'm back with another head render. This time I recorded some videos - one for the sculpting process and the other for texturing. I must apologize for the jerkiness of the videos, I still have to find the right balance between my slow sculpting process and the speed of the actual timelapse.
With that said, I hope it may help or at least entertain someone who likes to watch a man's head grow from a ball of digital clay in a slideshow'ish manner.

Head Sketch

Hi. Here's my new piece.
I have some mixed feelings about this one. Although it is a bit messy and all over the place, it is also the closest thing I could get from the look I've been trying to achieve lately. Some of its elements are obviously inspired by Jeff Simpson - one of my favourite artists.
It's funny I always develop much further in post production the most unfinished models. This one is clearly the case... the actual render is so terrible I wont even post.
It all started as a generic model for testing the new Fiber Mesh feature from Zbrush (instant love, btw).
Anyway, hope you like it.
